VALVOLINE Global Operations has launched a new motorcycle engine oil range in Malaysia, covering four-stroke motorcycles and scooters used for daily commuting and long-distance travel.
The Valvoline Champ range comprises fully synthetic, synthetic-blend and conventional formulations, with different grades designed for varying engine requirements and riding conditions.
The flagship Champ 4T Ultra Racing 10W-50 is a fully synthetic oil aimed at high-performance motorcycles and long-distance riding.
Another key product, the Champ 4T Extra 15W-50, targets riders navigating frequent stop-start urban traffic.
The wider motorcycle range includes Champ 4T Ultra Racing 10W-40, Champ 4T Extra in 10W-40 and 15W-50 grades, and Champ 4T Premium in 20W-40 and 20W-50 grades.
For scooters, the lineup includes the fully synthetic Champ 4T Ultra Scooter 5W-40, alongside Champ 4T Extra Scooter and Champ 4T Premium Scooter in selected 10W-30 and 10W-40 grades.
The products carry relevant American Petroleum Institute (API) performance classifications and Japanese Automotive Standards Organisation (JASO) specifications, including MA2 for motorcycles and MB for scooters.
Valvoline Ccuster manager for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Leong Tak Chuan said the range was developed to address local riding conditions, including tropical temperatures and heavy traffic.
The products are distributed in Malaysia by Vanli Group and are available through authorised workshops, retailers and service centres nationwide.
As part of the launch, Vanli Group is sponsoring 1,000 bottles of engine oil for Lalamove driver partners.
Valvoline Global operates in more than 140 countries, with a distribution network spanning over 80,000 locations.
The company is part of Saudi Aramco.
