The Buffalo Bills keep stacking wins, but their success clearly isn’t the result of an outstanding defense.
The Bills just find ways to win, thanks in large part to their spectacular offense orchestrated on the field by none other than former NFL Most Valuable Player and superstar quarterback Josh Allen.
Take for example Buffalo’s Week 6 victory over Kirk Cousins and the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The Raiders brought the fire on offense, as they scored 30 points, but those were not enough to bring down Buffalo, which put up 33 points.
Of the six teams Buffalo has faced so far this season, only two failed to score more 30 or more points. Those are the Los Angeles Chargers, who lost to the Bills in Week 3 (24-16) and the New England Patriots, who defeated Buffalo the following week (29-26).
With the Raiders scoring 30 points and Allen and company still winning, Buffalo extended a historic streak in the NFL.

Defense is a Glaring Issue for the Bills Through Six Weeks

Buffalo’s offense is No. 1 in the league, averaging 32.8 points per game, and the team probably wouldn’t have such a great record without that kind of prolific attack, as the Bills are just 28th overall, allowing 28.5 points per contest.
Against the Raiders, Allen once again showed the way for Buffalo, as he went 23/33 for 255 passing yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions. He is now tied with Buffalo legend Jim Kelly for most passing touchdowns in franchise history, a record that he’ll virtually break. That can happen as soon as Week 8, with Buffalo on a bye in Week 7.
