Former Bachelor Sam Wood has suffered a major blow in his attempts to suppress court documents from the public.
Mr Wood’s lawyers sought a non-publication order at Brisbane Supreme Court relating to domestic violence accusations facing the former reality show contestant.
The bid, if successful, would have prevented journalists from accessing documents which ordinarily are made readily available.

The Courier Mail reports Supreme Court Justice Patrick McCafferty only opted to temporarily suppress names, addresses and identifying people named in the documents – not the complete documents.
The suppression also extends to the address Mr Wood would be living in if he was to be granted bail.

It comes after a previous attempt at bail was denied, on October 8, four days after he was charged with an alleged violent assault on his wife, Snezana Wood.
The pair first met during the 2015 season of the Bachelor.
Police allege that the pair got into an argument on October 3 after returning from a dinner. before Mr Wood pushed and choked his wife to the point her breathing stopped.
It has also been alleged that Mr Wood banged his wife’s head on the floor, leaving her “in fear of her safety”.

He was arrested the following day, on October 4.
All allegations have been denied by Mr Wood, who remains in custody on remand, pending the outcome of his latest application.
He was recently being held at the high-security Wolston Correctional Centre, having been transferred from Brisbane Correctional Centre.
He is charged with assault occasioning bodily harm, domestic violence and strangulation in a domestic setting.
Mr Wood’s bail application is due to be heard at court next Friday.
More to come.
