A total of 5,555 homes will open for subscription across South Korea in the fifth week of October, led by an officetel project in Seoul and large apartment complexes in Gyeonggi and Busan.
Eight developments nationwide will go on sale from the 26th to the 30th, offering a combined 5,555 units, according to real estate research firm Real Today on the 25th.
On the 27th, large complexes including Acmer Dongtan 95 and 99 (1,808 units) in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, and Treebeen Centum Complexes 1 and 2 (1,644 units) in Busan's Haeundae District will go on sale. In Seoul's Yeongdeungpo District, the GD Metro Tower officetel (770 units) will be offered. On the 28th, Sinbunpyeong Aift The Way City (992 units) in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, will begin taking subscriptions.
Acmer Dongtan 95 and 99, being developed by POSCO E&C in the Bansong-dong area of Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, comprises seven buildings ranging from seven basement levels to 49 above-ground floors, with 1,808 units of 54 to 162 square meters in exclusive floor area. A new Bansong Station on the Dongtan-Indeogwon Line (under construction, tentative name) is being developed in front of the complex. The project is also drawing attention because Dongtan Station, one stop from Bansong Station, provides access to the GTX-A and KTX lines, putting major Seoul business districts within 20 to 30 minutes. A shuttle bus stop serving Samsung Electronics' Nano City Hwaseong Campus is also located in front of the complex, earning it the label of a "shuttle-access" location.
Sinbunpyeong Aift The Way City, being developed by HL D&I Halla in the Jangseong-dong area of Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, comprises 10 buildings ranging from two basement levels to a maximum of 29 above-ground floors, with 992 units of 59 to 112 square meters in exclusive floor area. The site adjoins Cheongju's Second Ring Road and National Route 17, with convenient access to the First and Third Ring Roads. It is also positioned to draw demand from nearby employment centers including SK hynix's Cheongju Campus, the Cheongju General Industrial Complex and Techno Polis. Next to the complex, a kindergarten and Jangseong Elementary School (tentative name) are being planned to open in step with move-in. The developer plans to provide a medical support system based on a memorandum of understanding with Cheongju Hana Hospital, along with academic services through a Jongro M School branch within the complex.
Dongbu will open the show house for Namchuncheon Centreville in the Hyoja-dong area of Chuncheon, Gangwon State, on the 30th. The project consists of a single building ranging from six basement levels to 39 above-ground floors, with 264 units of 59 to 84 square meters in exclusive floor area. A sky community facility will be built on the top 39th floor. Located along Chuncheon-ro, the complex offers easy access throughout Chuncheon and is close to Namchuncheon Station, served by the Gyeongchun Line and ITX-Cheongchun trains, as well as Chuncheon's express and intercity bus terminals. Bongui Elementary School and Chuncheon Middle School are within walking distance, and Chuncheon National University of Education and Kangwon National University are also nearby.
