Oklahoma State’s offense is rolling.
The Cowboys have scored more than 40 points in three consecutive games for the first time since 2018.
If OSU passes the 40-point mark Saturday against Houston (6:30 p.m., FOX), it would be the longest streak since the end of the 2011 season.
The Cowboys will likely have an easier time moving the ball against Houston’s pass defense (No. 13 in the Big 12) than Houston’s rush defense (No. 1 in the Big 12).
OSU is a 4.5 point underdog against Houston. The Cowboys are 2-0 as underdogs this season after beating Oregon and West Virginia.

LIFTOFF
Drew Mestemaker throws for more than 300 yards for the fifth straight game. Running back Caleb Hawkins gets held under 100 rushing yards against a tough Cougar defensive front, but scores a late touchdown to put OSU ahead. With possibly the biggest hurdle cleared, OSU’s push to the Big 12 Championship Game has liftoff.

TEXAS HOLD ‘EM
The Cowboy defense comes up with a late stop to hold off the Cougars. OSU asserts itself as a strong Big 12 contender.

H-FROWN
The Cowboys have thrived as underdogs, beating Oregon and winning at West Virginia, so of course they could do the same at Houston. I lean the Cougars at home, though. TDECU stadium isn't known for it's atmosphere, but this is the first top-25 matchup Houston has hosted in 11 years. Willie Fritz has basically begged Houston fans to pack the place.

DEEP IN THE HEART
This might be the most exciting game in college football this weekend. It's a pair of Texas-born quarterbacks in Conner Weigman and Drew Mestemaker who are lighting up the scoreboards. Can Caleb Hawkins break through against the Big 12's best rush defense? That might make the difference for OSU.

LONE STARS
The Cowboys' stars shine bright in Houston, this time with Drew Mestemaker continuing his remarkable rise by leading the way on a last-minute game-winning drive. It's the kind of statement that puts the Cowboys into CFP contender talk and Mestemaker into Heisman talk.
