The Texas A&M Aggies are looking to win on the road for the first time this season against the Alabama Crimson Tide, and they are expecting two of their starters to be available for the game. According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, wide receiver Mario Craver and defensive lineman DJ Hicks will both be available.
Neither one of them played last week against The Citadel, with the Aggies cruising to a 41-0 win and improving to 4-3 this season. They are both listed as probable on the injury report released on Friday night.
Craver has a team-high 24 receptions for 241 yards and two touchdowns in six games this year. The Birmingham, Alabama native is in his second season with the Aggies and was named to the First Team Preseason All-SEC Team, but has struggled to get going as he battles injuries.
He has not caught multiple passes in a game since Sept. 26 and has gone over 100 yards receiving just one time this season. He had 59 receptions for 917 yards and four touchdowns last season.
Hicks has played in six games this season, recording 12 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and 0.5 sacks. The Katy, Texas native was on the Third Team Preseason All-SEC Team and looked poised to take a step in his senior season.
Texas A&M's game against Alabama (5-2) is set to start at 2:30 p.m. CT in Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game will air on ABC.
