Company executives decided to address the matter publicly on social media after airport authorities and freight handlers failed to provide official explanations for the cargo's disappearance.
"In more than 38 years of history, we have never experienced a situation like this, and we will not remain silent," the company stated in an official press release translated from Portuguese.
"Two pallets of Zotac RTX 5090 graphics cards have disappeared at Guarulhos International Airport, which is approximately R$2.5 million worth of merchandise at cost price, and so far we still have no answers."
Management expressed deep frustration over how high-value, heavily monitored technology cargo could vanish inside a secured international aviation hub without leaving a clear paper trail
Company representatives confirmed that the public appeal aims to pressure authorities for a swift investigation and assist in recovering the lost hardware.
While the exact unit count remains undisclosed, local market listings price individual Zotac RTX 5090 graphics cards at approximately R$34,000 (RM27,505) each across Brazilian retail outlets.
Based on the distributor's wholesale acquisition valuation of USD470,000 (RM1,918,775), industry analysts estimate that the missing pallets held dozens of units
The distributor has not yet released specific flight arrival dates or consignment tracking documentation.
It remains unclear whether law enforcement agencies are treating the incident as a coordinated cargo theft or an internal logistical misplacement.
