The Taraba state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, weekend, said he will prioritise good governance, quality education, functional healthcare services, job creation, and accountability in public office.
Bwacha, who stated this in Zing local government area while flagging off his campaign, said he has a vision for a new Taraba, saying: “My administration if elected will prioritise good governance, quality education, functional healthcare services, job creation and accountability in public office.
“I will show a renewed commitment to the development of Taraba state and I will also want all Tarabans to reflect on the state’s current position and the future it hopes to achieve.”
He maintained that public office is a position of trust that requires leaders to demonstrate responsibility, transparency, and commitment to delivering tangible results to the people.
According to him, governance should go beyond political promises to include effective service delivery, improved living standards, and policies that directly address the needs of citizens.
“As we begin this political journey, we must as people, refresh our dear state. We must reflect on where we stand today and where we want to go,” he added.
He emphasised that his administration would provide children with access to quality learning in a conducive environment, stressing that education remains a vital tool for the development of individuals and society at large.
