TikTok hosted a “showcase” (read: schmoozer) event at Canberra’s infamous Kingston Hotel last night, the kind of event that tends to pop up around the time a company has some sort of favour to curry in Canberra.
In TikTok’s case, the company is not happy about the government’s proposed digital duty of care changes, the Nine papers report, which Communications Minister Anika Wells happens to be speaking about at the National Press Club this afternoon.
