Injury watch for an AFC North rival begins in earnest for the Cincinnati Bengals now.
Exiting the bye week looking good in the AFC North, the Bengals have all eyes on the injury for Lamar Jackson.
Monday, Ravens head coach Jesse Minter would only classify Jackson as"potentially" practicing this week and calling him “day-to-day,” according to The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec.
Jackson just missed his team’s loss to the Cleveland Browns, so his status is something to watch daily this week.
The Ravens have other problems, too. Wideout Rashod Bateman is dealing with an issue this week, and Minter also told the media that they could bring in kickers for competition with Tyler Loop struggling.
For the Bengals, there aren’t nearly as many concerns coming out of a bye. And catching the Ravens at home this hobbled could be a very good thing for the season-long outlook, so it’s critical to watch updates from Baltimore over the next few days.
