SAN ANTONIO – The Phoenix Suns play their third and final away preseason game on Wednesday, Oct. 14, against the San Antonio Spurs at Frost Bank Arena.
The 5 p.m. MST game will air on Arizona's Family 3TV.
The Suns (1-2) defeated the Spurs, 102-98, on Oct. 10 in their home preseason opener without Devin Booker (rest) and Miles Bridges (right ankle).
Dillon Brooks, Jalen Green, Oso Ighodaro, Collin Gillespie, Bridges and Booker didn't participate in Wednesday's full morning shootaround and aren't expected to play against the Spurs in the preseason rematch. They were all at the shootaround held at the arena. Brooks, Green, Ighodaro and Gillespie played in Phoenix's first three preseason games.
This will be the second straight preseason game Booker will rest as he played in the first two on the road last week against the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls. Bridges played against the Pistons as well, but he injured his right ankle in the first half against the Bulls and sat out against the Spurs on Saturday, Oct. 10.
Suns coach Jordan Ott said after practice on Oct. 12 that Bridges' ankle was recovering well but he would not be pressed to play in the next preseason game.
Phoenix concludes preseason action Oct. 16 versus the Utah Jazz at Mortgage Matchup Center. The Suns open the 2026-27 regular season Oct. 21 at the Portland Trail Blazers.
