Plush Nessie is one of the new fish you can catch during the FischFright 3 event in Fisch. It is a limited+ rarity fish, which makes it hard to catch. With this guide, you will learn how to increase your odds and all the possible ways to get Plush Nessie in Fisch.
Since Plush Nessie is a limited+ rarity fish in Fisch, you will need to fish for hours before you can catch it. But there are other ways you can index this fish to your bestiary. Here are some of the best methods:
Trick-or-Treat
Since it is Halloween, you can knock on the doors and get treats in Fisch on the event island. There is a small chance (0.4%) that you can get the Plush Nessie while selecting the option of Treat. While the chances are slim, you can keep visiting houses and collecting rewards until you get the fish.
Note: After doing Trick-or-Treat, houses go on a cooldown of 8 minutes before you can try again.
Reach 470 Hex Energy
You can also get this fish as a reward from Beatrix’s Cauldron as a FischFright Hex reward in Fisch. To do this, collect the Witch’s Ingredients by completing Goblin quests and submit them to Beatrix on Caustic Hallow.
Keep submitting ingredients until you reach 470 Hex Energy. You will then unlock Plush Nessie as a Hex progression reward.
Open Frightful Caskets
Another method is opening Frightful Caskets, which you can purchase from the Dutchman Merchant for 30 Treats each.
Plush Nessie has a 0.1% chance of dropping from a Frightful Casket, so you may need to open quite a few before getting it.
Fish During the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event
You can also catch Plush Nessie by fishing in any body of water during the Spooky Cemetery admin event. It has a 0.5% chance of appearing during this event.
