Global footwear production edged up to 24.6 billion pairs in 2025, a modest 0.1% rise from the previous year, with Asia dominating output at 88.7%. Bangladesh ranked seventh worldwide in both production and consumption, the latter climbing from 406 million pairs in 2024 to 455 million in 2025.
