The Garmin beta version 19.15 has arrived for one of the brand’s square smartwatches. This testing update brings a wide range of changes to users, including improvements to features and bug fixes.
Garmin has released beta version 19.15 for the Venu X1 smartwatch. This is the first update to be issued as part of the 19.xx testing cycle for this wearable. The 18.xx cycle culminated in the 18.32 stable release earlier in October 2026.
With Garmin’s beta version 19.15, the Venu X1 receives changes to Auto Lap prompts announcing the number of laps mid-workout. Another change is blocked vibrations when taking a reading in the Pulse Ox App. When on the Change Sport page, favourite activities are now listed first, with users able to view additional options by selecting ‘More’.
This Garmin Venu X1 beta update also includes two navigation related changes. The first of these is faster search results for points of interest (POI). The second is full page course turn guidance is no longer displayed when you are watching the map page. On top of this, there are fixes for bugs linked to Garmin Explore data, Bluetooth headphone connection and the virtual partner screen. You can find the complete change log for the update in a dedicated post on the Garmin forum.
As usual, beta version 19.15 can be manually downloaded to the Venu X1 smartwatch (curr. $699.99 at Amazon). To do this, go to the Main menu > Settings > System > Software Update > Check For Updates.

I've been interested in technology for as long as I can remember. From a young age, I have loved gadgets and understanding how things work. Since graduating, I have worked for several technology companies across FinTech, AdTech and Robotics.
