Elections constitute the basis of defining The Gambia its citizens want. We have been following social media. How are we to influence each other to focus on the problems that affect each and every one of us is the question of the day. If the citizens do not identify the type of Gambia they want they will not be able to decide who should manage the country on their behalf.
No Gambian would want the young to be out of school, unemployed and without skills. No one would want them to get into risky votes. It is during such election period that those who aspire to lead the country seize the platform to say evil things about each other. This pattern of discourse where opponents speak evil of each other is not The Gambia we want.
