KUALA LUMPUR: Infomina Bhd has secured a five-year software subscription and maintenance renewal contract worth RM22.1 million with Panasonic Digital Co Ltd.
The company said its wholly-owned subsidiary Infomina Japan KK accepted the purchase order and signed the order form with Panasonic Digital on Oct 12.
"Under the agreement, Infomina Japan will provide mainframe software subscription licences and support services, including licence administration, billing coordination, licence changes, usage reporting and compliance monitoring.
"Its scope of services also includes assessing and monitoring Panasonic Digital's software environment to ensure it remains updated with the latest relevant supported versions," it said in a statement.
Chief executive officer and managing director Yee Chee Meng said Japan represented a significant growth opportunity for Infomina.
"Japanese enterprises take great pride in maintaining high standards of quality, reliability and operational excellence, particularly when it comes to their critical technology infrastructure.
"These values resonate strongly with Infomina's commitment to delivering dependable, long-term technology support," he said.
Yee said the company intended to build on its existing presence in Japan, strengthen its capabilities and pursue new opportunities among enterprises seeking reliable technology solutions.
Infomina remains focused on expanding across its established regional markets, supported by its capabilities in mission-critical infrastructure, cloud, data, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and managed services.
