Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions company has just issued a press release stating that they’ve filed evidence with the WBA demonstrating that Lucas Bahdi would’ve been crowned champion over Floyd Schofield had it not been for multiple officiating errors made during the fight, including knockdowns that weren’t ruled as such.
MVP claim they have a responsibility to advocate on behalf of their fighters, and after a review of the fight they believe they owe it to Bahdi to get a fair result and that the evidence they’ve provided to the WBA is deserving of a complete review as they seek out an immediate rematch from the sanctioning body.
Bahdi would come up short in a decision loss to Schofield with the vacant WBA belt on the line over a week ago, but looks forward to getting a chance at vindication if he can convince the WBA to formally order a sequel.
