The Chargers are off to their worst season in 26 years.
Los Angeles holds a 0-6 record, and as they head into its Week 7 bye, many expect major changes to come its way.
That remains to be seen as the week progresses. As things stand, the Chargers' playoff odds aren’t as high as they were at the start of the season.
It’s likely the Chargers will finish with a sub-.500 record; however, with 11 games remaining, they could flip the switch.
The Athletic released its projections for the Chargers' most likely end-of-season records, with 5-12 at 24%.
A 4-13 finish was the next most likely outcome at 22%, with 6-11 at 18% and 3-14 at 14%.
The Chargers are still in the middle of the toughest stretch of their season. After their Week 7 bye, they will face their Los Angeles counterpart, the Rams, who are struggling as well.
In Week 9, the Chargers will then host the Texans, who are 2-4, followed by the Ravens in Week 10.
After Week 10, the Chargers' schedule gets a bit easier, at least compared to their current stretch.
If the Chargers turn things around with 11 games remaining, they could finish near .500, with a 4% chance of finishing 8-9 and a 1% chance of finishing 9-8.
