Kuwait’s General Department of Criminal Investigation has dismantled a network involved in manufacturing and promoting locally produced alcoholic beverages inside a residential property in the Al-Rihab area.
The operation followed intensive investigations and field surveillance, which led authorities to identify the suspects and uncover their activities. During the raid, security officers seized approximately 300 containers of alcoholic substances, each with a capacity of 25 liters.
Investigations revealed that the house was being used entirely for manufacturing operations, with hazardous and highly flammable materials found on the premises, posing a potential threat to neighboring homes.
The operation was carried out in coordination with the General Fire Force and in cooperation with the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy. The Kuwait Municipality also prepared to remove encroachments and address the necessary violations.
Legal procedures are being taken against the suspects before they are referred to the competent authorities.
The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its commitment to intensifying efforts to identify locations used for criminal activities, apprehend those involved and take the necessary legal action to protect public safety and community security.
